Disney Baby The Lion King™ Premier ConvertMe Swing-2-Seat™ Review!

The Disney Baby The Lion King™ Premier ConvertMe Swing-2-Seat™ is very quiet. It doesn't use a motor to run, it runs by a magnet instead! The swing works with innovation from InGenuity. It's easy to fold and unfold. Easy to clean! It's very easy to buckle and unbuckle my baby girl in and out of the seat. The sounds on the swing are at the perfect volume! We could watch television and have the sounds playing on the swing and we could hardly hear them. The green and brown color design of the swing is perfect to match any decor in your home. It's very calming and soothing. The seat is very soft and it cradles my baby girl. She also loves the vibration of the swing. We never need to use the locking feature because she likes to swing and feel the vibration at the same time. The weight limit for infants in this swing is listed as for infants up to 20 pounds. But I would say no more than 15 pounds, because by then, most little ones are trying to sit up and crawl and they could get hurt trying to get out of the seat.

A few things that my husband and I didn't like about the swing:
- The instructions could be a little more clear on how to put the swing together.
- The swing only uses batteries and does not have an option to plug it into an outlet.
- The Simba toy on the toy bar faces us, not our baby girl.
- The toy bar only includes one toy and no velcro straps to place two other toys onto it. (It would have been nice if there were three toys attached to the toy bar that could be taken off if we wanted to give them to our daughter to play with.)

We like that we can unfold the swing to use for our daughter, and fold it and put it away to keep our five and three year old's from sitting in it. This swing is also perfect to take with you to the babysitters, a friend's house, to your parent's house, or to your in-laws!

You can purchase the Disney Baby The Lion King™ Premier ConvertMe Swing-2-Seat™ at Toys R Us.

Disclosure: I received a free sample of Disney Baby The Lion King™ Premier ConvertMe Swing-2-Seat™ from Kids II for the sole purpose of providing an independent review post, and using the product for two weeks and keeping track of the time that my daughter uses it and taking photos of her using it. The opinions expressed are exclusively my own, based on my experience.

  1. Great review, just ordered the swing and am looking forward to putting it to the test!
One question though, what kind of batteries does it take? And how is the seat on them (do they last long? assuming you buy decent batteries and not dollar store brand...)

    1. I think that they discontinued it.

You can purchase Disney The Lion King crib bedding and room decor on amazon though!

Also search for "the lion king baby stuff" for some cute Simba and Nala things.

You can also post in your local buy/sell groups and see if someone might have one in their home! I know that there was also a matching pack and play too!

      Sincerely,
      Heather Kelly
