Peanuts fans rejoice! Warner Bros. Home Entertainment (WBHE) is set to release an all-new animated collection featuring cartoons from the newly launched Peanuts cable television series. Titled Peanuts by Schulz: Snoopy Tales, this collection includes 32 shorts, which are based on the iconic, print comic strip created by Charles Schulz. Frame by frame, viewers will take a nostalgic trip, revisiting some of Schulz’s most endearing Peanuts themes spanning over 50 years. This must-own collection will be available in stores January 24, 2017. Peanuts by Schulz: Snoopy Tales will retail for $18.94 SRP.

Experience Peanuts like never before with this beautifully animated series that captures the adventures of Charlie Brown, his lovable beagle, Snoopy and the rest of the Peanuts gang. The first new animated Peanuts cartoon series in over 10 years, Peanuts by Schulz: Snoopy Tales presents viewers with stories from the original, print comic strips, told through a series of beautifully animated vignettes. Whether pestering Charlie Brown for a snack, battling Linus for his blanket or snoozing the day away with Woodstock, Snoopy once again proves that he’s not your ordinary dog. Peanuts by Schulz: Snoopy Tales is sure to captivate both new and long-time Peanuts fans alike.

“Consumers today may not remember that Peanuts originated as a comic strip. Peanuts by Schulz: Snoopy Tales has combined two wonderful mediums, print comic strips and cutting-edge animation to create a really unique Peanuts experience,” said Mary Ellen Thomas, Vice President Family & Animation Marketing. She added, “Peanuts by Schulz: Snoopy Tales takes us back to the origins of Charles Schulz’s remarkable work. No Peanuts fan will want to miss this new release.”

My Review:
My family and I love Snoopy! We love kicking back on a rainy or snowy day, popping some popcorn and watching a movie, or some animated Peanuts cartoons. It's nice to be able to play 2-4 of them at a time, and then put in a different movie, and then go back to the Peanuts DVD where we left off to watch more! We really enjoyed "Let It Snow," "Woodstock" and "A Day with Snoopy!" Those were my favorite. I hope you all enjoy watching the Peanuts gang and Snoopy as much as I enjoyed sharing them with my three children. I feel that we should all get back to basics and back to keeping our children as innocent as possible for a long as we can. Watching the older animated cartoons, animated movies and other older movies can help us to accomplish that.
