Is Genesis History? DVD Review and Giveaway! (U.S.) Ends 4/30 #IGHL3

About the film:
IS GENESIS HISTORY? features over a dozen scientists and scholars explaining how the world intersects with Genesis. From rock layers to fossils to lions to stars, this fascinating film will change the way you see the world. The film shines new light on our origins, providing a positive case for creation in six normal days, a real Adam and Eve, a global flood, and a tower of Babel. Dr. Del Tackett, creator of “The Truth Project,” serves as your guide—hiking through canyons, climbing up mountains, and diving below the sea—in an exploration of two competing views … one compelling truth.

Film genre: documentary
Run time: 118 minutes (film: 101 min,  Q&A/ credits: 17 min)

My Review:
Is the Grand Canyon proof that the earth had a great flood thousands of years ago? Mary, Jesus's mother's genealogy goes all the way back to Adam, then the earth can't be very old. In Arizona, 70 miles away from the Grand Canyon, the rock formations contain the same rock layers. There's also a lack of erosion between the layers of the rock formations to mean that the earth isn't as old as we think it is.

What was the history of the world according to Genesis?

The bible records historical events, but doesn't explain how they happened. The evidence is inside the rocks. There's growing evidence of many things that point to Genesis being actual history of the Earth.

There's tissues and cells inside the dinosaur bones that are making scientists think that the bones are no more than 4,000 or 5,000 years old.

The history of Genesis is important to your Christianity.

Genesis is what happened. Science is how it happened!

The above statements are those from the film. I really enjoyed watching it. As it helped me to understand the bible and science better. I am going to take some time and re-read Genesis again!
