Are you wild about learning? Explore the animal kingdom with Elmo and friends as Warner Bros. Home Entertainment and Sesame Workshop, the non-profit, educational organization whose mission is to help kids grow smarter, stronger and kinder, release Sesame Street: Elmo Loves Animals on DVD Today. With over three hours of lions, monkeys, zebras and more, this exciting DVD also includes a bonus full-length feature, “Dinosaurs”.

Welcome to the safari of learning as everyone’s favorite furry monster and the rest of the gang set off on an adventure to discover all the different types of animals.  In the latest DVD from the preschool powerhouse, Elmo is back to continue his quest to learn more about the animal kingdom. With a little help from Elmo and Grover, preschoolers everywhere can learn about what it is like to live in the wild and get to meet the creatures and beasts on a safari. As the Sesame friends explore and use the power of imagination, children can learn about science, animals and nature such as what a paleontologist is, why bears hibernate, and what farm animals like to eat. Elmo and friends pretend to be all the wild animals that they come across. From large carnivores to small herbivores, this fun DVD is guaranteed to be a roaring good time!

“Warner Bros. Home Entertainment is thrilled to continue its mission to impact young minds and to expand their education,” said Mary Ellen Thomas, Warner Bros. Home Entertainment Vice President, Family & Animation Marketing.  “With this newest Sesame release, we hope to bring a fun and engaging experience that the entire family can enjoy.”

Now in its 47th season, Sesame Street is the longest-running program in children’s television and the number one top-of-mind preschool show with moms. Since its premiere in January 2016, Sesame’s pre-school audience on HBO has grown +92%.  Sesame Street continues to reach its loyal audience with 1.5 million DVDs sold each year and 3 million kids reached each month across TV platforms. The series has received more Emmy awards than any other show in television history, as well as a Lifetime Achievement Emmy Award honoring the 40th year.
