2012 Holiday Gift Guide: The Original Christmas Classics DVD Gift Set Review and Giveaway! (U.S.) Ends 12/6
When you were younger, do you remember watching the Christmas shows such as Rudolph, the Red-Nosed Reindeer, Santa Claus is Comin' to Town, The Little Drummer Boy, Frosty the Snowman, Frosty Returns, Mr. Magoo's Christmas Carol, or Cricket on the Hearth? All of these great old Christmas shows have been brought together on DVD and they have been digitally remastered in a Two-Disk set called "The Original Christmas Classics!" This year marks the 50th Anniversary of Mr. Magoo's Christmas Carol!
I didn't think that my children would be interested in watching any of these at all. But so far, they really love Frosty the Snowman! In fact, I am enjoying it too, but don't tell them that! Burl Ives is the voice of the Snowman in the claymation cartoon of Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, created in 1964! His voice reminds me of my childhood, and of Christmas when I was a little girl. Frosty the Snowman was created in 1969, now I really feel old. This cartoon was already eleven years old when I was five.
Check out the Santa Claus is Comin' to Town Printables! You can Print out a Christmas Wish List for your children to fill out and send or give to Santa Claus!
Would you like a chance to win these Christmas Classics on DVD to share with your family this Christmas? Of course you do! Enter using the Rafflecopter Form below. If you need help, please email me at mysticbutterfly37 at yahoo.com. This DVD set retails for around $36 on Amazon, it's currently on sale for $18.73!
