My Review:
I really enjoyed sharing The Scary Sleepover book and Moodsters Feelings Flashlight with my children. They enjoyed the book and talking about when they feel scared too. We also talked about the mood meter at the end of the book and about other feelings they have and how they might make us feel when we have them.

I feel that these books and products are great tools in helping us teach our children at home and for teachers in schools to help teach our young children about emotions and together, we can help to teach our kids how to handle their emotions. Like when your three year old throws a flashlight at her brother's head! He got so upset he yelled at her in her face about what she did. She sat down and cried while he stomped his feet and yelled pretty loudly all the way up the stairs to his room. He was pretty upset that she hurt his head. So talking to both of them about their feelings shortly after we read the book helped both children to realize how they were feeling.

I received a The Moodsters: The Feelings Flashlight and The Scary Sleepover - Children's Book in exchange for my post. No other compensation was exchanged or received.
