"The Christmas Story" by Robert Sabuda #Review & #Giveaway! (U.S.) Ends 12/4 (2 Winners!) #HolidayGiftGuide #HGG2016

Everyone has heard the story of Jesus’s birth too many times to count…but have you ever heard it in the form of a pop-up storybook? Robert Sabuda’s The Christmas Story with pop-up art tells the story in a new, creative way.

About The Christmas Story: Long ago in the town of Bethlehem, on a bright and starry night, a baby was born, a child who was called the son of God. Announced by an angel, born in a humble manger, laid in a bed of straw, visited by shepherds and wise men—the age-old, awe-inspiring story of the birth of Jesus is lovingly brought to life by master pop-up artist Robert Sabuda in six gorgeously imagined scenes, culminating in a 3-D manger sheltering humans and beasts, guarded by an angel above. Glinting with touches of gold and pearlescent foil, The Christmas Story is a visual feast, a holiday treasure to be shared with the whole family.

About Robert Sabuda: Robert Sabuda is internationally acclaimed for his stunning pop-up books, including America the Beautiful and The 12 Days of Christmas. He is also the illustrator of Chanukah Lights by Michael J. Rosen. Robert Sabuda lives in New York City.

My Review:
I love the Christmas Story. This book adds a whole other dimension to it with the Pop-Up pictures. My girls and I read it together, and then they read it together themselves and spent a lot of time looking at each individual page and pop-up picture. There is so much dimension to them and so much to look at! This is a book that should be shared with everyone year round! I am so glad we have this book to add to our home library and book collection! It's beautiful and really makes the story of Jesus's birth come alive for everyone.

You can purchase The Christmas Story book at most book retailers and on Amazon (affl. link).
