About the Author:
Helen Foster James is an award-winning author who has written fiction, nonfiction, historical fiction, board books, and hundreds of reviews and articles for educational publications. She is a former teacher, professor of children’s literature, and coordinator of library media services. She is always working on new writing projects. When she is not reading, writing, and rhyming words, she enjoys traveling or spending time in the mountains or by the ocean.

About the Illustrator:
Estelle Corke has illustrated more than fifty children’s books, including Where’s My Hug? She uses traditional paints to create gentle scenes with hints of humor, working at a desk overlooking her back garden. Her dog, Poppy, supervises her progress in exchange for attention and the occasional treat. Estelle lives in Wiltshire, in the United Kingdom.

My Review:
Daddy's Girl is a cute book about a little girl hosting a tea party for her and her daddy. She has extra seats and places her plush toys at the table too. I feel it's an adorable book for a father and daughter to share. I also feel that daddies should have tea parties with their little girls. It helps both fathers and daughters to bond and for little girls to see their daddies in a different light. They need to know that their fathers can be nice, sweet and gentle too.
