DVD Release Features 13 Episodes from the Animated Series’ First Season

Prepare to go on an unforgettable adventure with Green Eggs and Ham, the animated family comedy series, by Warner Bros. Home Entertainment. Inspired by the Dr. Seuss classic, Green Eggs and Ham is the Daytime Emmy® Award-winning series executive-produced by Ellen DeGeneres (The Ellen DeGeneres Show) and features an all-star cast including Michael Douglas (The Kominsky Method), Adam Devine (The Righteous Gemstones), Keegan-Michael Key (Friends from College), Eddie Izzard (Hannibal), Jillian Bell (Bless the Harts), Ilana Glazer (Broad City) and Diane Keaton (Something’s Gotta Give). This release will include all 13 season one episodes. Green Eggs and Ham: The Complete First Season is priced to own at $18.94 SRP ($19.98 Canada).

A chance meeting at a diner and a briefcase switch-up, results in two unlikely companions Sam (Devine) and Guy (Douglas) getting mixed up on an adventure that takes them on a road trip to save an endangered animal – the elusive Chickeraffe – from a far-off zoo. The two mismatched souls cross paths with the overprotective Michellee (Keaton), whose daughter, EB (Glazer) desperately wants a pet and falls in love with the Chickeraffe…despite her mother’s fears that it will eat off her face (it won’t). As Michellee’s walled-up heart connects with the heart-hardened Guy, a laborious love story begins. With the foursome also unknowingly pursued by a bounty-hunter Goat (Turturro), two bad guys, McWinkle (Wright) and Gluntz (Bell) and Snerz (Izzard) a tiny, evil overlord who’s out to get the Chickeraffe as his ultimate trophy, they set out on a cross-country road trip, learning to try new things along the way – like hope, friendship…and a certain delectable dish!

Inspired by the classic book by Dr. Seuss, Green Eggs and Ham debuted on Netflix in November 2019 with strong performance among virtually all demos. The series earned a Daytime Emmy® Award for Outstanding Casting for an Animated Series or Special.

My thoughts:

While I haven't had a chance to see this yet, I love Dr. Seuss and the story of Green Eggs and Ham! I know that all children and adults alike will like this series. As anything Dr. Seuss is cute and hilarious.
