Tomy John Deere Monster Treads Gator Toy Review and Giveaway! (U.S.) Ends 10/15

We recently reviewed a John Deere Monster Treads XUV Gator toy sold by TOMY. The Lights n Sounds Monster Treads line features rugged vehicles that are ready to tackle any obstacles. The John Deere Monster Treads are available in tractor and gator styles, each off-road vehicle features three function lights ‘n sound action with LED lights. Other features include all terrain steering and super bouncy tires.

My five year old son and three year old daughter have really enjoyed playing with their John Deere Monster Treads Gator toy. I didn't like that it repeats the same phrase when a button on top of the toy is pushed. It says "Nothing runs like a Deere." It's fine that the John Deere company wants young children to purchase their products as they grow into adults, but shouldn't the toy say something more than just the same phrase when the button is pushed? My husband and I didn't like that fact that it uses the little watch batteries instead of AA or AAA batteries. We also noticed a few toys that we purchased recently are also using these expensive batteries. Sometimes these little watch type batteries cost consumers more than the original cost of the toy itself. But overall, the John Deere Monster Treads Gator toys are fun to play with!

You can purchase the John Deere Monster Treads Gator toys at Walmart and Toys R Us. They sell for between $8.99 to $10.99. These would make great Christmas gifts, and also great gifts to donate to Toys for Tots!
