Disney's "Beauty and the Beast" Movie Review! #BeautyandtheBeast #BeOurGuest #Belle #EmmaWatson

Please go see Beauty and the Beast, for yourself, and take your family. Then come back to this post and share with me and my followers your thoughts about the movie. I don't feel that any gay scenes were presented or thrown in my children's face, at all. My two children who went with me to attend the movie are 4 1/2 and 9 years old, the oldest is a boy, my youngest is a girl.

My 9 year old son thought it was funny at the end of the movie that a guy was dancing with a guy. It was literally a two second clip on film. We shield our two girls and our nine year old son from things that we don't want them to see. To our son, a boy dancing with a boy is normal. He attends public school dances and he dances with his friends who are boys, and his girls who are his friends. To my son, there's no difference dancing with his friends who are boys or girls. He's not going to notice right now that it's something he should think about.

And then come the Why's! Why make my son ask me why it's wrong for him to dance with his friend who is a boy? I don't want to have that conversation with him yet. He doesn't need to know. There was no men kissing one another in the movie at all. Gaston's friend, LeFou, did wrap Gaston's arms around him as if to have Gaston hug him from behind, then his LeFou said "Too much?" Gaston said yes, and then they let go of each other's hands. But nothing on screen in this movie was presented in a way that children would understand it, at all.

Scary Warning for little ones:
I will warn you to cover the eyes of any little ones who don't like scary movies. When the wolves appear, they care very realistic. I thought it was done well. But for my four and a half year old daughter, they were super Scary and Loud! So she closed her eyes, hid under her coat, and covered her ears. They appear two or three times during the movie. The same spots as in the animated version of Beauty and the Beast. So maybe watch the animated version first so you know when to expect them. Other than that, there wasn't anything scary in the movie.

Take your sons and daughters to see this movie. You and your children will fall in love with Beauty and the Beast all over again. Emma Watson is an amazing actress! Who knew she could sing too!

Disclosure: I received some press passes to see Beauty and the Beast with two of my children. The above opinions are mine, and mine alone. I wanted to tell you the truth about the movie and about how I felt seeing it. As there's been too many rumors about certain scenes in this movie, and I wanted to assure you that the scenes aren't as big of a deal and some people are making them out to be.

Running Time: 88 minutes

My Review:
The opening scenes and music of The Jetsons is similar to what I remember watching back in the late 70's, early 80's. I was a big fan of watching The Jetsons when I was young. George Jetson is hired by Mr. Spacely to watch over Big Show after he's defrosted. Big Show leaves the Jetson's house and goes crazy all over Orbit city. The Jetsons go back in the past, to get help to save the future of WWE, and attend a WWE show and think it's so neat that humans can be physical like that! They love the WWE and what they are seeing. The Jetsons get some of the WWE stars from the past to come with them to the future, the Jetson's present-day to help stop Big Show. Only the Jetsons end up accidentally come back in the future one month after Big Show unfrozen. I won't spoil the rest of it for you.

My kids actually sat still and watched it. Normally with animated movies like this, they get bored watching it after the first 15-20 minutes. But not when they watched "The Jetsons & WWE: Robo-Wrestlemania!" I am so glad that I got to share this animated Jetsons movie with them. It's really cool that the great, past animated cartoons are coming back in a big way! Some of the animated cartoons and movies aimed towards children aren't appropriate for them to watch anymore. I'm glad that my husband and I have the option to share the classics with our little ones. As it gives us a better option for our children to watch than having the present-day cable network channels for kids which keep shoving more and more inappropriate things in front of our youth today that our children shouldn't be seeing at a young age.

Enter for your chance to Win one copy of "The Jetsons & WWE: Robo-Wrestlemania" on DVD. Giveaway is open to residents of the main continental 48 United States only, 18 years of age or older. Giveaway ends 3/27/17. No P.O. Boxes, sorry.

My Review:
The book turns your child into an Easter Bunny! It uses their name to be the name of the Easter bunny. Then the bunny hides 20 eggs. Each egg is numbered and the children can check out the pages to find all 20 eggs! It's really super cute! It has your child's name on the front of the book and inside of it too. It even mentions your home town if you want it too. You can also add your child's own photo inside the second page! The plush bunny is from Melissa and Doug. It's great quality and so soft and cuddly. My four and a half year old daughter takes him with her everywhere we go.

"Uh-Oh, Bunny" and "No, No, Bunny" - Children's Board Books Review & Giveaway! (U.S.) Ends 3/26 #LittleBunnyTour #WorthyKidsIdeals

WorthyKids/Ideals has released a new series featuring a playful bunny. Aimed at children ages 2 to 5, "No, No, Bunny" and "Uh-Oh, Bunny" provide a friendly setting where children can learn gentle life lessons about positive and negative behavior.

"Uh-Oh, Bunny," finds Little Bunny being a bit careless: drawing on walls, knocking over a plant, tearing pages from a book. When Mama asks him about the messes, Little Bunny chooses to be honest, which makes Mama happy. With Mama’s help, Little Bunny cleans up each mess. Preschoolers will learn, in a gentle, non-didactic way, that telling the truth is always best.

"In "No, No, Bunny," Little Bunny has been taking things that don’t belong to him: pennies from Mama’s purse, a friend’s toy car, and a candy bar from the store. Taking everything seemed like a good decision at the time, but now Little Bunny feels sad. He confesses to his Mama and returns the items to their owners, learning that doing what’s right is always best.

Both books feature the comforting colors and whimsical artwork of Claire Keay paired with Pamela Kennedy’s simple yet profound text. A die-cut on the cover invites children into Little Bunny’s world by revealing a raised illustration of Bunny on the first page. Perfect for introducing meaningful life lessons, the Little Bunny books are sure to be a parent and child favorite.

My review:
Every Easter I include one or two children's books inside my children's Easter Baskets. It's become part of our Easter tradition. We encourage our children to read books of all kinds. The more books they get their hands on, the more reading and learning that goes on in their lives.

"Uh-Oh Bunny" does some naughty things in his house like coloring on the walls and more. He then tells his mama the truth about each naughty thing that he did and he helps his mama with cleaning up the things that he did. On the last page, it says "Tell each other the truth." Ephesians 4:25 (NCV) Teaching children to tell the truth is an important thing. Then need to know that they can trust us, as their parents and care givers to tell us the truth without fear, but with trust. In this story, the mama bunny showed her child, Grace.

"No, No, Bunny" is a little book about taking things and that taking things, like money from his mama's purse, can then lead to stealing, and stealing isn't ok. This is a hard lesson to teach to your children. I have taught mine not to take things without paying for them and to not put things in their pockets when they pick them up at the store. I've had my children pick up a small toy or candy bar and put it in their pocket without thinking that we could get in trouble for them hiding the item since we hadn't paid for it yet. This book is perfect for teaching this lesson early on, when children are most impressionable. The last page says "If a person is stealing, he must stop stealing." Ephesians 4:28 (NCV)

Win Them!

Enter below for a chance to Win a copy of both "Uh-Oh, Bunny" and "No, No, Bunny" - children's board books! Giveaway is open to residents who live in the main continental United States only, 18 years of age or older. No P.O. Boxes, sorry. Giveaway ends on 3/26/17.
