The Snipe Hunt Game #Review!

Kids look forward to finding gifts to play with for Summer Break, Christmas and their birthdays. But what if this year you added a twist by hiding a fun gift around the house and played a game to see who could find it first?

The Snipe Hunt Game from Education Outdoors is a fun activity in which two Snipes are used. The object of the game is to be the first player/team to find the other players/teams Snipe first. If the Snipes have not been found after a period of time, they start to chirp and their eyes light up. Kids are sure to get a kick out of the extra hunt for this gift.

Our Mission
With the average child watching over 20 hours a week of television, and with statistics showing violent images shown on t.v. reaching over 8,000 per child, Education Outdoors Inc. has been embraced by families that long for a refreshing change in the types of products available to their children. In a very short time, CAMP has received excellent support locally in Michigan, as well as nationally by selling over 1000 games in its first month. “It is our mission to bring families together to interact and learn about the outdoors.”

About Education Outdoors Inc.
Education Outdoors Inc. was created by Tim Paczesny in 2005. Before Education Outdoors, Tim had founded a non-profit organization called “The League of Extraordinary Outdoorsmen”. The League organized a family fishing day once a year that was held during the free fishing weekend in Michigan. During this event, Tim realized the need to educate children and their families about the outdoors.

The motivating factor to this initial realization occurred while Tim was gathering Morel mushrooms with his wife and two daughters in Northern Michigan. Tim’s daughter noticed an animal track on the ground and asked her dad what it could be. He told her that it was a raccoon track. “Dad, how did you learn all the things you know about nature?” With that question, Education Outdoors Inc. was created and its first educational board game was about to be developed. During the winter of 2005 and into 2006, Tim was dedicated to making his dream become a reality. He finished 400 questions and 100 fun facts about animals and the great outdoors. This completed the first game called “Camp— The Game That Grows With You”.

My Review:
My children LOVE their Snipes! Each snipe has a name, and they look like cute little bunnies, to be honest. They would be super cute to give any child for indoor or outdoor play. Since the weather here is unpredictable, my children play with their snipes indoors a lot. So when they get bored, I tell them to go play with their snipes, and off they go for a little bit.

The game box itself says ages 5 and up, but my three and a half year old loves to play and it's easy, and so much fun!

Director: James Bobin
Producers: Joe Roth, Suzanne Todd and Jennifer Todd, Tim Burton

About the movie:
In Disney’s “Alice Through the Looking Glass,” an all-new spectacular adventure featuring the unforgettable characters from Lewis Carroll’s beloved stories, Alice returns to the whimsical world of Underland and travels back in time to save the Mad Hatter. Directed by James Bobin, who brings his own unique vision to the spectacular world Tim Burton created on screen in 2010 with “Alice in Wonderland,” the film is written by Linda Woolverton based on characters created by Lewis Carroll and produced by Joe Roth, Suzanne Todd and Jennifer Todd and Tim Burton with John G. Scotti serving as executive producer. “Alice Through the Looking Glass” reunites the all-star cast from the worldwide blockbuster phenomenon, including: Johnny Depp, Anne Hathaway, Mia Wasikowska and Helena Bonham Carter along with the voices of Alan Rickman, Stephen Fry, Michael Sheen and Timothy Spall. We are also introduced to several new characters: Zanik Hightopp (Rhys Ifans), the Mad Hatter’s father and Time himself (Sacha Baron Cohen), a peculiar creature who is part human, part clock.

Alice Kingsleigh (Wasikowska) has spent the past few years following in her father’s footsteps and sailing the high seas. Upon her return to London, she comes across a magical looking glass and returns to the fantastical realm of Underland and her friends the White Rabbit (Sheen), Absolem (Rickman), the Cheshire Cat (Fry) and the Mad Hatter (Depp), who is not himself. The Hatter has lost his Muchness, so Mirana (Hathaway) sends Alice on a quest to borrow the Chronosphere, a metallic globe inside the chamber of the Grand Clock which powers all time. Returning to the past, she comes across friends – and enemies – at different points in their lives, and embarks on a perilous race to save the Hatter before time runs out. Presented in Digital 3D™, Real D 3D and IMAX® 3D, Disney’s “Alice Through the Looking Glass” opens in U.S. theaters on May 27, 2016.

Our #DisneyKids Preschool Party! #Disney #DisneyJunior #Banfield #Publix

Disclosure: I received free products in order to host the Disney Kids Preschool Playdate. The opinions expressed here on my site are my own.

We were selected to host a #DisneyKids Preschool Party in our home with our friends! We received a box with a Sofia the First carry on size suitcase from American Tourist, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse plates, napkins, table cloth and ceiling decorations, Glad FROZEN sandwich size zipper bags, ALL laundry soap samples, small container of Nestle Nesquik chocolate milk, ten drawstring backpack type bags that say "Disney Junior" on the back, ten maps of Walt Disney World, ten sheets of Disney's The Lion Guard Tattoos, ten Lion Guard posters, ten hats that could be used as Jake and the Neverland Pirate hats or Sofia the First crowns, some bags to decorate to use as puppets or whatever, and one bag of safari animals, which we used to decorate the table with and the children enjoyed playing with them. We also received a copy of "My Very, Very Smelly Breath" children's book, from the Banfield Pet Hospital to read at our #DisneyKids party, but the children got so busy, I forgot.

Kiddos Eating Lunch.

Even the Moms joined in on the fun!

Most everyone got fake tattoos!

PhotoBomb!

We invited fifteen children and six adults, and only three children and two other adults could come. Everyone else either had the flu, strep, pink eye or something else. We couldn't reschedule, so we made the most of it with my three children and a little boy I babysit. So we had seven kids total! I ordered pizza, we had cupcakes, ice cream, fruit and more!

I purchased a blow up Crocodile game, that I called "The Tick Tock Croc" (from Jake and the Neverland Pirates and Peter Pan) that the children could throw rings around his head and tail! Everyone joined in on the fun to play this game! They all took turns and had a lot of fun!

Thank you so much to our Party Sponsors American Tourister, Banfield Pet Hospital, Nestle Nesquik, ALL, GLAD, Disney, Disney Junior, my friend at Disney and Publix (gave us crayons for our goodie bags).

We used our GLAD zipper sandwich bags for our left over tattoos!

Nestle Nesquik chocolate milk is the best!
