The Gift of Gift” was written by Sanjay Nambiar, an award-winning author and the creator of the Super Amazing Princess Heroes’ series. Fine artist and sculptor Sedi Pak designed the vibrant illustrations, all of which were painted on birch plywood panels.
Proceeds from the book are being shared with World Children’s Initiative (WCI), which built a hospital in Sri Lanka after the 2004 tsunami, as well as the African heart center depicted in "
The Gift of Gift." The title character in the story was inspired by a real-life girl named Gift, who was WCI’s first heart patient in Uganda.

My Review:
The Gift of Gift is the second book written by Sanjay Nambiar. The first book in the series is called "The Super Duper Princess Heroes: How It All Started (Super Amazing Princess Heroes)." My girls love female and male superheroes. It seems to be their newest obsession. Kinney becomes slow and she gets sick, with a hole in her heart. So she is sent back to America to have her heart fixed. Gift is the name of a little girl that Kinney, Oceana and Sammie have grown close with. After Kinney has her heart repaired, Gift becomes sick with the same thing. Kinney, Oceana and Sammie build a hospital in Uganda, where Gift lives, like the heart hospitals in America to help Gift and other children in Africa with health problems so they can get help instead of waiting to be flown to America to do so. After the hospital is built, a fairy princess appears and turns Gift into a Super Amazing Princess Hero. Now she can join Kinney, Oceana and Sammie on their adventures!
It's a cute story. I feel that it's for children ages 3 to 7. As my 7 year old said that the story was ok. But of course, my 4 year old liked it.
