My Review and Thoughts:

We love all of the Indiana Jones movies! This last one was for sure, the final one with Harrison Ford. The ending is really cool! If you like the previous Indiana Jones movies, you'll like this one too! My fifteen year old son and eleven year old daughter wanted to watch the previous five Indiana Jones movies now! I'm so happy to be able to share these amazing family movies with them! Check out the movie trailer below.

My Review and Thoughts:

I wasn't quite sure that I was going to like this remake. To be honest, it was okay. If I hadn't already seen the animated version, that I probably wouldn't have judged it so much. I wasn't fond of Flounder or Sebastion. As they played much larger roles in the animated version then in this one. They also took out a few scenes, and of course, entered some new ones. The acting is alright, could have been way better for a Disney movie. I still say that the Live Action Beauty and the Beast was the best one by far! Check out "The Little Mermaid" Trailer below.

My Review:

My three children and I saw "Elemental" in the movie theater a few weeks ago. We all really enjoyed it. My children are now fifteen, fourteen, and eleven! They still enjoy going to Disney movies and so do I! Elemental was one of the most adorable love stories that I've seen from them in a long time. It's a cute movie with to me, no subliminal messages. 

Even if there was suspected to be some racial things in it, I sure as heck didn't notice them! I read in another article online, that "This movie offers a solid foundation to delve into topics of xenophobia, accessibility, and inclusion." I never saw them. As this movie is about an immigrant family moving to a town that wasn't so friendly to them in the beginning. But eventually, they opened up a shop and other Fire elements move into the community around them. The kids don't even realize that hearing "elements don't mix," is an issue for adults. As the issue becomes a non-issue at the end of the movie. So it's a Good thing!

The story introduces Ember, a tough, quick-witted and fiery young woman, whose friendship with a fun, sappy, go-with-the-flow guy named Wade challenges her beliefs about the world they live in.  Celebrate the 30th anniversary of the most universally acclaimed film in the Dark Knight’s legendary cinematic history when the newly-remastered animated movie Batman: Mask of the Phantasm, comes to 4K Ultra HD for the very first time. From Warner Bros. Discovery Home Entertainment, the film will be available to purchase on 4K Ultra HD on September 12, 2023.

The release will also include an all-new featurette Kevin Conroy: I Am The Knight, which takes a look at the legacy of Kevin Conroy, who voiced Batman for 30 years in film, television, video games and more.

Rooted in DC’s acclaimed Batman: The Animated Series and released theatrically on Christmas Day 1993, Batman: Mask of the Phantasm has not only been ranked by Time magazine as one of the 10 best Super Hero movies ever, but is also arguably the core fans’ all-time favorite Batman film. The movie has been rated at the top of the Dark Knight film franchise by such popular entertainment media as Empire, Screenrant and Paste. And in the ultimate mainstream salute for its time, Gene Siskel & Robert Ebert didn’t initially review the film during its theatrical release, but later dedicated a portion of their At The Movies weekly TV series to pay compliment to the film – and voice their regret for not giving it the attention it deserved during its original run – when Batman: Mask of the Phantasm was distributed for home entertainment.

The 4K HDR/SDR remaster of Batman: Mask of the Phantasm was sourced from the 1993 Original Cut Camera Negative and was scanned at 4K resolution. Digital restoration was applied to the 4K scans to remove dirt, scratches and additional anomalies, but special care was given to not touch the film grain or the animation cel dirt that was part of the original artwork. This is the first time since its theatrical release that it is presented in its 1.85 aspect ratio. The original 2.0 mix and the 5.1 tracks were remastered to remove or improve defects such as pops, ticks, dropouts and distortion.

Together, Noah and his fellow campers band together to construct a funhouse hideout in the woods, packed with booby traps, zip lines, and bees. In a “change of heart,” cold-hearted Falco warms to the campers, and steps in to help; and together they all learn a valuable lesson of sticking together.

Hello! I've missed all of you!

I am going to start posting on my blog again and checking my LOW Entry Giveaway Form. I promise! Otherwise, I'm going to lose my sponsors, like Disney and Warner Bros., and I'd rather not do that.

I haven't posted in so long, ya'll don't know that I bought my own house! I'm a single mom, and I bought a house for me and my three children. My kids are now 15, 14, and 11! They will be in 10th, 9th, and 6th grade. They are growing big and healthy, so far, so good.

We now have two dogs, two cats, and two hamsters. 

Living in our own home has made money tighter, but we had to do what was best for us in the long run. Even if it means we are living on cheap breakfast foods and looking for every discounted deal and meals, that we can find! McDonald's has FREE French Fries on Friday, on the app. AND Krispy Kreme Donuts is selling a dozen original glazed donuts for just 86 cents with the purchase of a regular-priced dozen donuts on Friday, July 14th! Every little bit helps.

Walt Disney Animation Studios today announced that Mickey & Minnie 10 Classic Shorts – Volume 1 will soon be available to audiences to enjoy at home. This new collection gathers together ten classic animated shorts for the first time, including the iconic “Steamboat Willie,” and features all-new introductions from Mickey and Minnie for each short.

This release is part of the planned releases coming in 2023 to celebrate Disney's 100th anniversary.

It will be available to purchase on Blu-ray and DVD from February 7. 

Film Synopsis:

Celebrate 100 magical years of Disney with this collectible compilation of animated shorts! Mickey and Minnie share their memories in new introductions to these 10 wonderful stories, which have entertained generations of children and adults alike. Included is the iconic "Steamboat Willie," the first cartoon with synchronized sound, in which the character of Mickey Mouse was first introduced as a deckhand on a riverboat commanded by the tyrannical Captain Pete. Also included are "Brave Little Tailor," featuring Mickey as a medieval tailor given a daunting task. In "Mickey’s Delayed Date," the tardy mouse relies on his faithful pup Pluto to get him to a dance with Minnie. "Hawaiian Holiday" finds Mickey and his pals vacationing on a beautiful island.
