I received this from a friend today, and in honor of Christ, I am changing my Holiday Gift Guide, to my Christmas Gift Guide. I like Christmas. I always say "Merry Christmas" to others. I would never, could never say Happy Holidays. Who says that anyways? So read below, and let me know if you too agree, it's CHRISTMAS we fight for, as this "hurting other people's feelings" junk has got to go. What happened exactly to the TRUE meaning of Christmas?




 Twas two months before Christmas
When all through our land,
 Not a Christian was praying
 Nor taking a stand.
 Why the PC Police had taken away
The reason for Christmas - no one could say.
 
 The  children were told by their schools not to sing
 About Shepherds and Wise Men and Angels and  things.
 It might hurt people's feelings, the teachers would say
 December 25th is just a ' Holiday '.
 
 Yet the shoppers were ready with cash, checks and credit
 Pushing folks down to the floor just to get  it!
 CDs from Madonna, an X BOX, an I-Pod
 Something was changing, something quite odd!
 
 Retailers promoted Ramadan and Kwanzaa
 In hopes to sell books by Franken & Fonda.
 As Targets were hanging their trees upside down
At Lowe's the word Christmas - was no where to be found.
 At K-Mart and Staples and Penny's and Sears
You won't hear the word Christmas; it won't touch your ears.
 Inclusive, sensitive, Di-ver-is-ty
 Are words that were used to intimidate me.
 Now Daschle, Now Darden, Now Sharpton, Wolf Blitzen
 On Boxer, on Rather, on Kerry, on Clinton!
 At the top of the Senate, there arose such a clatter
 To eliminate Jesus, in all public matter.
 
 And we spoke not a word, as they took away our faith
 Forbidden to speak of salvation and grace
 The true Gift of Christmas was exchanged and discarded
The reason for the season, stopped before it started.
 
 So as you celebrate 'Winter Break' under your 'Dream Tree'

My review of IAMS Shakeables dog treats:

I went outside with my two older children, and we shook one of the cans of IAMS Shakeables chicken flavored treats (green can). Both of our beagle/pointer mixes came running! They also both loved the treats! We don't give treats to them too often because our male dog, Bandit, has a sensitive stomach. Winnie is our female, they are brother and sister! Both of our dogs just turned eight (8) years old in human years! As they were born on September 30th, 2005! So they are about 56 years old, and with more and more white hair on their faces, they are beginning to show their age. (Bandit has a cone on his head because he keeps chewing his skin around his tale and you don't want more details than that!)

The IAMS Shakeables Treats had no strong odor to them. I have had dog treats in the past that were super strong in the stink department. They are super great to use for teaching your dog new tricks! Especially if you have a little puppy, you could break them into smaller pieces to make them last longer while your training him or her! I used treats when Winnie was younger to teach her to shake! She picked it up really quick! Within a few days of working with her, she was shaking my hand!
