Almondina Products Review and Giveaway! (U.S.) Ends 7/10 (Rafflecopter)

I was recently asked to host a review and giveaway for Almondina brand cookies. I have never seen cookies like this before! I was sent a big sample of all of the types of cookies that they bake and sell. The Chocolate Cherry have the perfect chocolate flavor, the almond crunch and crunchiness of the cookie/biscuit, and chewy cherries. I really enjoyed them. The GingerSpice were a little strong in flavor for me. I liked the crunchiness of the cookie/biscuit and the flavor of the almonds, but there could have been a little less ginger spice. But if you love ginger, you would love these! I really enjoy eating them with my morning coffee or just as a snack.

Peter Pauper Press 2013 Mom's Weekly Planner Review and Giveaway! (US/CAN) Ends 7/8 (Rafflecopter)

I recently reviewed the 2013 Butterflies Mom's Weekly Planner from Peter Pauper Press. I haven't had a planner since I had a day runner a few years back. With baby number three on the way and our son starting Prekindergarten, we need a better, easier way to keep track of everything going on in our lives with us and our children. This planner has become my life line and has been so helpful in keeping track of everything going on for us this past month, and especially next month, in July, when our baby girl will be born!

I really liked the easy, laid out monthly calenders that I can write in and see what's going on for the whole month! Then after the calender monthly pages, are weekly pages with tons of space for writing down what is going on at every time of day! The outside of the planner has a hardcover!

There's even a section in the front of the planner to keep important information for babysitters. My only issue with this, is that I would rather photo copy this to give to a baby sitter, than to let them have access to my current and future plans and events. There is also an address book section towards the back of the book so that you can keep information about your closest friends and family in your planner too! I do wish that there were two address book pages, instead of just one. I have a lot of friends and family, and I haven't tried yet, but I don't think that I can fit them all in there.

My First Taggies Book Review!

My husband, children and I really adore Taggies products! After we reviewed the Taggies lovey blankey, we were asked to review a My First Taggies soft cover book! The book is very soft and perfect for little hands to manipulate to look at the pages. The Taggies book includes familiar animals, appealing mirrors, soft colors, and of course, Taggies tags throughout. I really like the fact that Taggies products are machine washable! I wouldn't put them in the dryer, as they should be hung up to dry. But you can wash them in your washing machine if you need to!

My almost three year old daughter enjoyed looking at herself in the mirror on the front page and asking us the names of the animals.

I didn't like the that there were only a few tags inside the book. Not all of the animals had tags on them. There was also nothing on the back page. I would of liked to see more tags and two to four more pages, at least. Maybe some different textures on the animals too.

You can purchase this book, and five other Taggies books, on Amazon.com. I know that Target stores sell the Taggies lovey blankets and some other Taggies products, but I didn't check for the Taggies books because our Target store is still remodeling their infant section.
