Jeff Carson has come full circle with careers that have allowed him to do the two things that he loves – music and police work. While singing demos on songs that turned into hits for Tracy Byrd (“Walkin’ To Jerusalem”), Tracy Lawrence (“I See it Now”), Reba McEntire (“The Heart Is A Lonely Hunter”), and Tim McGraw (“I Wouldn’t Want It Any Other Way”), Faith Hill (“It Matters To Me”)." Singing demos turned into a lucky decision for Carson when he met record producer and publisher Chuck Howard, who cut three or four songs on him that were good enough to pitch to labels. Howard was instrumental in getting him his label deal at Curb Records, and soon a single, “Yeah Buddy,” released to radio. This was his first charting single and was followed up with ‘Not On Your Love,’ which went number one. The following single, ‘The Car,’ became a top-five hit, topping out at number two. Carson had several other singles, including “Real Life (Was Never The Same Again)” from his album “Real Life.” An album release party was planned for “Real Life” on September 11, 2001. That morning terrorists hijacked two planes to attack the Twin Towers in New York City and one that attacked the Pentagon in Washington, D.C. A fourth plane was hijacked from the terrorists and crashed in Shanksville, Pennsylvania. The song made it into the Top 20 but it all changed when Carson decided to switch from music to law enforcement.

"H is for Happiness" - Movie, Available Today On Demand, possibly in theaters too!

My Review and Thoughts:

I really enjoyed watching "H is for Happiness." It made me realize that family is important, no matter how big or small. And even though we might be sad for a while over the death of a family member, life goes on, and we need to live it! Candice is a beautiful, sweet, kind hearted girl whose very smart. She meets a boy in her class who helps her dad to create a new computer program idea! Candice and her friend also become friends with a stray pony they find in the forest. This movie is super adorable. It's not all sunshine and roses though. I recommend it for families with children ages ten and up, as younger children might not understand some of the movie's adult content. There's also a gentleman who owns a costume shop who dresses up as a woman. But during the movie, your children aren't going to think anything of it if you don't make it a big deal. Most children don't notice things like that, unless you point it out to them and make it awkward! Check out the trailer below.

Ashley and Iwuji met while doing events for the United States Navy Exchange and Navy Entertainment supporting American troops and their families serving abroad.

About Jared Ashley:

Born in Hobbs, NM, near the oil fields on the Texas-New Mexico border, Ashley relocated to Newnan, GA with his dad as a small child. Inspired by the revitalization of country music in the early ’90s by artists like Travis Tritt and fellow Newnan native Alan Jackson, Jared came to claim country music as his own. After high school, Jared joined the Navy, serving four years aboard the USS Independence and USS Kitty Hawk aircraft carriers. He spent much of that time stationed in Yokosuka, Japan while also serving two tours of duty in the Persian Gulf. Jared moved to Nashville the following year, assembling a band nearly as soon as he arrived. His talents quickly landed him the coveted weekend gig at the world-famous Tootsie’s Orchid Lounge on lower Broadway. The gigs at Tootsie proved to be a tremendous break for Jared, giving him the opportunity to meet and impress numerous Music Row executives at his shows and make his first foray into the recording studio. It was there that Jared also met the booking agent who began to mold Jared into the road warrior he has become.

After placing fifth on Season Four of “Nashville Star” in 2006, Jared used the exposure to further his ability to tour and build a fanbase as a live artist, even without the benefit of a record deal. More confident with his abilities to write songs as well as spot the special ones from other writers in the Nashville community, Ashley headed into the studio in 2010 with co-producer Bobby Terry to create an album for his fans. The music also brought Jared to the attention of Blaster Entertainment, a multi-faceted Ohio-based entertainment company. Jared was soon signed for management representation, and it was an easy decision for both parties to sign him to a record deal when the company’s Blaster Records division launched a full Nashville operation in 2012 behind the release of albums by Hank Williams, Jr. and Aaron Lewis.

Today, Disney+ shared the new trailer, key art and new images from the highly anticipated second season of Lucasfilm’s critically acclaimed series, “The Mandalorian.” The Mandalorian and the Child continue their journey, facing enemies and rallying allies as they make their way through a dangerous galaxy in the tumultuous era after the collapse of the Galactic Empire. “The Mandalorian” stars Pedro Pascal, Gina Carano, Carl Weathers and Giancarlo Esposito. "Cats & Dogs 3: Paws Unite!" REVIEW, on Digital, Tomorrow, 9/15, & Blu-Ray/DVD Combo Pack on 10/13! #CatsandDogs3

Cats & Dogs 3: Paws Unite! features an all-star comedy lineup lending their voices to this new generation of four footed and two winged friends including Melissa Rauch (The Big Bang Theory) as Gwen the cat, Max Greenfield (The Neighborhood, New Girl) as Roger the dog, and George Lopez as Pablo the Parrot. The film is directed by Sean McNamara (Soul Surfer) and written by Scott Bindley (The Last Summer). Producers are Andrew Lazar (Cats & Dogs, Get Smart) and David Fliegel.

My Review and Thoughts:

"Cats & Dogs 3: Paws Unite!" is a cute movie. I'd say younger kids might like it, they might not. Maybe they could watch it a half hour to an hour at a time, and come back to it. It's sort of slow going. The dog and cat agents are super cute though. Good movie for a rainy afternoon. Watch the credits to see how they trained the animals to do things in the movie!

Mickey Mouse and friends are heading to Disney+ in the all new-animated shorts series, “The Wonderful World of Mickey Mouse." From the team behind Disney Channel's Emmy Award-winning “Mickey Mouse” cartoon shorts, the new Disney+ original series will debut on Mickey’s birthday, Wednesday, November 18, with two new shorts rolling out every Friday beginning November 27. Ten shorts will premiere this year, with 10 additional shorts set for Summer 2021.

In “The Wonderful World of Mickey Mouse,” it's nothing but fun and excitement for Mickey and his best pals – Minnie, Donald, Daisy, Goofy and Pluto - as they embark on their greatest adventures yet, navigating the curveballs of a wild and zany world where the magic of Disney makes the impossible possible. Each seven-minute short is filled with laugh-out-loud comedy, modern settings, timeless stories, new music and the unmistakable classic art style of the “Mickey Mouse” shorts. The series will include stories inspired by various lands at Disney parks and cameos by classic Disney heritage characters.

Marked by a contemporary art style that harkens back to Mickey’s 1928 beginnings, the “Mickey Mouse” cartoon shorts premiered on Disney Channel in 2013 and ran for five seasons, consisting of a total of 96 episodes, and garnered seven Primetime Emmy Awards, two Daytime Emmy Awards and 21 Annie Awards. The shorts inspired a global line of consumer products, toys and clothing as well as the new attraction, Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway, the first ride-through attraction in Disney history starring Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse, now open at Disney’s Hollywood Studios at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida.
