My Review:
I had a chance to read a few of the stories in this book, they are truly inspiring. One story tells about quilters who come together in every state across the U.S. to make quilts for sick children in hospitals. There's even a link at the end of the story about how you can help! This book is a great read for anyone and everyone. Even if your not a quilter or sewer, you will love these short, inspiring stories about people's generous, giving hearts.

My Review:

I love the Dr. Suess' How the Grinch Stole Christmas movie more than I do the cartoon version. My kids aren't completely into watching it yet, but that's fine. I loved watching it on blu-ray, as the picture is much clearer. The movie also came out 15 years ago! Now I feel old! But what a great movie it is! This is one movie to share with your family in December and year 'round!

My Review:

My 8 year old son played Minecraft Story Mode on our XBox One and we got to help him. It was like watching a Minecraft story play out in a cartoon/movie in front of you, but every so often, the player/remote control holder, got to make choices and decisions as to how the game was going to go. So a child or adult can play Minecraft Story Mode more than once and have different outcomes. We also downloaded Episode 2 and played that once Episode One was finished. Episodes 3, 4 & 5 aren't available yet, but XBox said it would download them when they become available.

When you begin the Minecraft Story Mode Game, you get to choose what you want the main character to look like. Then you get to play along. There are 2-4 choices that you can choose from to comment or choose to make the pet pig your sidekick! We chose to make the pig the sidekick, it was awesome and funny at times. I recommend this game for children ages 8 and up, as they need to be able to read quickly to make choices in the game.

Disney-Pixar's "The Good Dinosaur" - My Review! #TheGoodDino

I thought that the movie was good. But it would get good, then a storm would happen and something bad would happen, again and again. So there was about 4 or more storms. The movie became predictable with the storms.

But the dinosaur's character grew and learned not to be afraid, and he grew bigger while he was on his adventure and met some new friends along the way. There was a scene with a Rino where the Rino and Dinosaur, Arlo, were naming the boy (Spot), and the Rino was throwing out names and one of the names was "Murderer." I wasn't too happy about that at all. The Rino threw out another name too that I wasn't keen on at all. I feel that they didn't need to be in the movie. But if your kids are like mine, they won't remember it.

There was also one phrase that was spoken by these pterodactyls (flying dinosaurs) that I didn't feel needed to be said. But overall, then movie was good. Some of the 3D effects were neat with fireflies and birds. But seeing in in 3D or normally would be fine. My 8 year old son said it was awesome. He doesn't remember what I did. He just remembers the good parts. He said the ending made him cry, which I won't give that part away! The ending isn't sad, no worries.

The Good Dinosaur comes out tomorrow, Wednesday 11/25 in theaters everywhere!
