Going Green with Pambra's Washable Nursing Pads (Review)!
Did you know that Pambra's not only makes and sells Bra Liners, but they also sell some awesome, Washable Nursing Pads! Pambra's Nursing Pads are six inches in diameter, which is much bigger than most other washable nursing pads that I have purchased in the past. This means that they cover my big nips and areolas! They are very soft, flexible, and absorbent. Pambra's Nursing Pads are made out of Cotton/Polyester blended fabric.
I don't know if you can tell, but there is a nursing pad in the middle of the Pambra's Nursing Pad to show the difference in sizes.
Here they are side by side. The Pambra's Nursing Pads are much larger, which also means that they will hold more liquid and fit better for women with larger breasts!
Pambra's Nursing Pads are sold in a box with ten nursing pads! The nursing pads are also machine washable and they are safe to put in the dryer too! I recommend purchasing a garment bad, which is a netted bag with a zipper on it, that you can place small items such as washable nursing pads, baby socks, and more inside when you need to wash them.
I really love the idea of the Pambra's Bra Liners! I honestly wish that I would have thought of it! I have never been able to wear underwire bras because the wire cuts into my skin. Pambra's Bra Liners would really keep the wire away from my skin and possibly keep an underwire bra from cutting into my ribs. Pambra's Bra Liner is a soft cotton liner worn in your bra. The liners help "absorb perspiration under and between your breasts! Pambra's Bra Liners virtually eliminate the threat of fungus, and prevents heat rash from developing. Pambra’s have no pins, hooks, or tapes; the liners have been proven to stay in place with a properly fitted bra. (A properly fitted bra has no more than two fingers space to pull away from the body.)" (taken from the website)
Pambra's also makes and sells products for women who have had single and double mastectomys. They are called the Unilateral Bra Liner and the Bilateral Bra Liner. They would make a great gift for anyone who has had a mastectomy.
I recently had a c-section on July 2nd. I wish that I had purchased a few of Pambra's Original Tummy Liners. Maybe using a few of these and changing them out a few times a day, might have helped to keep my c-section incision from getting infected. It would have helped to absorb the sweat that collects around the incision, protecting it from infectious germs. I will be sharing this product with my OB at my next appointment! I think every woman who has a c-section should own a few of them!
ALL of Pambra's products are machine washable and dryer safe!

I wish I would have heard about Pambra's a few years ago! As a larger chested girl, I hated those little nursing pads and used to double up until my milk supply leveled out.
ReplyDeleteI'm going to be grabbing the Tummy Liners and Bra Liners now though. I have "twin skin", this annoying flap right above my C-section scar, that just won't go away :/
Interesting facts to share with my daughter. Thanks for the review!
ReplyDeleteThats a huge difference in size. I remember using those small bra liners, they would never stay in place and I had lots of wet boobie moments
ReplyDeletei wish i had heard of these when my children were babies. these sound amusing.
