About FATIMA:
In 1917, outside the parish of Fátima, Portugal, a 10-year-old girl and her two younger cousins witness multiple visitations of the Virgin Mary, who tells them that only prayer and suffering will bring an end to World War I. As secularist government officials and Church leaders try to force the children to recant their story, word of the sighting spreads across the country, inspiring religious pilgrims to flock to the site in hopes of witnessing a miracle. What they experience will transform their quiet lives and bring the attention of a world yearning for peace. Based on real-life events and starring Joaquim de Almeida (“Queen of the South”), Goran Višnjić (Beginners), Stephanie Gil (Terminator: Dark Fate) and Lúcia Moniz (Love, Actually), with Sônia Braga (Aquarius) and Harvey Keitel (The Piano, The Irishman), Fatima is an uplifting story about the power of faith.

Featuring the Original Song “Gratia Plena" performed by Andrea Bocelli and composed by Paolo Buonvino.

My Review and Thoughts:
I love this movie and this story. It did seem like there were two important parts cut out of the movie. You had to just assume that something happened instead of them showing what did happen to lead up to it, but it was towards the end of the movie. I think they cut it to keep it under two hours. The children actors were amazing! The mother and father of Lucia played their parts very well. It's really amazing when Lucia's mother stands up for her in town because people don't believe Lucia at first that she saw the Virgin Mary and had actually spoken to her. I am a Christian. But more and more, I lean towards believing some things that Catholics do also. How can I not when stories like this really happened?!

This movie is amazing, mostly because, it's a true story! Here's a photo below from the ending credits of this movie of the real children and an alter built by their followers.
