StinkyKids Dolls and "StinkyKids and the Runaway Scissors" - Book Review and Giveaway! (Worldwide) Ends 10/9 (Rafflecopter)

Have you met the StinkyKids? They were created by a mom, StinkyKids® is a brand built around a community of ten diverse characters; little stinkers sharing a philosophy of making right choices and spreading their motto ‘Always Be A Leader Of Good’. The StinkyKids Characters and plush Dolls are so cute, soft, and beautiful! My daughter loves her plush doll, Brit! Brit has brown hair made of yarn with purple flowers on her pony tails. Brit is wearing her ballerina outfit, as she loves to dance, just like my two year old daughter!

My two year old daughter wasn't feeling well when this photo was taken, so she was wanting to hold and cuddle with her Brit baby doll.

(My son had to get in on the action, he loves for me to take his photo too!)

StinkyKids has been featured on The Today Show, The Big Idea, Good Morning America Weekend, ABCNews, and FoxNews (check them out here) as well as many other regional and local programs, newspapers, magazines and websites. StinkyKids received an Honorary Mention award as Top 100 Most Innovative Companies 2008 and was featured in a NY Times Best Selling book and is included in the 2009 Chicken Soup for the Souls book ‘Power Moms’.

Now for the "StinkyKids and the Runaway Scissors" book review! "StinkyKids and the Runaway Scissors is a story about Brit and the StinkyKids, her friends. Brit loves to chew bubble gum and blow big bubbles. She accidentally gets gum in her hair and it's hidden in one of her pony tails. She doesn't tell her parents because she doesn't want to miss out on her play date with her friends. Brit tells her friends about the gum in her hair, so they decide to play barber shop. I don't want to give away the ending! The message to children in this book, is to not be afraid to tell your parents that you did something accidentally, like get gum in your hair, just so that you won't miss out on spending time with your friends. This book also teaches children to be honest with their parents and to learn from their mistakes. My children are two and four, and my son isn't quiet ready to listen to a story like this one. We got half way through it, and he ran off. So I will put it away and try reading it again to him in a few months.

"StinkyKids and the Runaway Scissors" book Won the 2011 Silver Mom's Choice Award for the best Children's Picture book! The Mom's Choice Awards (MCA) is a prestigious awards program that recognizes authors, inventors, companies, parents and others for their efforts in creating quality family-friendly media, products, and services.
