My Review and Thoughts:

We love all of the Indiana Jones movies! This last one was for sure, the final one with Harrison Ford. The ending is really cool! If you like the previous Indiana Jones movies, you'll like this one too! My fifteen year old son and eleven year old daughter wanted to watch the previous five Indiana Jones movies now! I'm so happy to be able to share these amazing family movies with them! Check out the movie trailer below.

My Review:

My three children and I saw "Elemental" in the movie theater a few weeks ago. We all really enjoyed it. My children are now fifteen, fourteen, and eleven! They still enjoy going to Disney movies and so do I! Elemental was one of the most adorable love stories that I've seen from them in a long time. It's a cute movie with to me, no subliminal messages. 

Even if there was suspected to be some racial things in it, I sure as heck didn't notice them! I read in another article online, that "This movie offers a solid foundation to delve into topics of xenophobia, accessibility, and inclusion." I never saw them. As this movie is about an immigrant family moving to a town that wasn't so friendly to them in the beginning. But eventually, they opened up a shop and other Fire elements move into the community around them. The kids don't even realize that hearing "elements don't mix," is an issue for adults. As the issue becomes a non-issue at the end of the movie. So it's a Good thing!

The story introduces Ember, a tough, quick-witted and fiery young woman, whose friendship with a fun, sappy, go-with-the-flow guy named Wade challenges her beliefs about the world they live in. My Review:
I LOVE, love this movie! I honestly want to read the book now! I am a big Katie Holmes fan! If you liked her in the TV show Dawson's Creek, you'll love her in this movie. She does some of her cute faces and smiles in this movie, and she even works in a restaurant like she did in Dawson's Creek. It's as if this book/movie was made for her. If you liked watching the movie, "Sweet Home Alabama," then you'll recognize Josh Lucas! He's aged well by the way. This is a good movie. Way better than any movie on a certain cable channel, in which I won't mention, that show love stories all day long. This movie isn't cheezy by any means! I really enjoyed watching the relationship and chemistry grow between Katie's character and Josh's.

Synopsis:

My Thoughts:
My ten year old daughter read this book and really liked it. She enjoys graphic books and novels and reads through them quickly. She enjoys reading about her favorite super heroes lives before they became super heroes and when they were younger. Graphic novels like these help younger readers to understand their favorite super heroes more in depth. I felt that it was a cute, enjoyable book. I just wish that there were AR tests for them in our schools for our children who can't read lengthy chapter books all the time.

The Hales are veterans in the children’s publishing space and are the co-authors behind acclaimed and fan-favorite novels and graphic novels including the Princess in Black series, Rapunzel’s Revenge, and The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl, among others. Both are longtime fans of Wonder Woman, and this book marks their first project with the character and first work with DC.

“I was so excited to write about young Wonder Woman,” said Shannon Hale. “I always wondered what it would feel like for young Diana to grow up as the only child in her world. How extraordinary—but also potentially lonely. We started from there and got to explore who Wonder Woman was as a child, and challenge her with an adventure that would help shape who she would become.”
