Peacock Republic (Organic Hair products) Review and Giveaway! - CLOSED

CLOSED

The sweet people at Peacock Republic were generous enough to send me a bottle their Fields of Grace Shampoo and Fields of Grace Conditioner, and a bar of their Sweet bb organic face and body bar soap for review. All of the products at Peacock Republic are Vegan, cruelty free, paraben, and sulfate free, and Made in the U.S.A. Peacock Republic has been featured in Lucky magazine, The Examiner, on NBC, Laboose, and the Tree Hugger!!! I really enjoyed using the shampoo and conditioner on my hair. While using the products, they made my hair feel soft, darkened my gray hairs a little, and it was very manageable. I have used some shampoos and conditioners in the past that left my hair limp and flat. I didn't have these issues with these products.

The Fields of Grace Shampoo and Conditioner are made with calendula, sage, spearmint and lemongrass. They have an intoxicating scent, which makes for the softest hair in all the land! The Sweet BB Organic Face and Body bar soap was created for adults and children with sensitive skin, it is made with organic ingredients and chemical free. The ingredients of the Sweet BB Face and Body soap is organic saponified oils of safflower and/or sunflower, palm and coconut (with retained glycerin); grapefruit seed extract; and rosemary extract. I have been using the Sweet BB Face and Body soap on my two children, ages three and a half and 19 months. They both have eczema and issues with sensitive skin. It rinses off easily and left their skin soft and smelling nice. My son also hasn't had any issues with his eczema on his arms or legs while I used it on him since then.

Peacock Republic sells six different kinds of Shampoos and Conditioners, eight different Bath and Body Bar Soaps, six Body Washes, six different Liquid Hand Soaps, seven different scented Soy Candles, and gift cards! If you or someone you know, enjoys the scent of a Chai Tea Latte, or Lemongrass, Mint, Mistletoe, or Citrus and Lavender, then Peacock Republic has some great organic products for you and your family!

Every outside packaging of bar soap is packaged with handmade plantable paper embedded with wildflower seeds! The outside of every bottle of shampoo and conditioner says "wash up because this paraben and sls free shampoo was handmade after walking barefoot in the snow uphill both ways to fetch the ingredients. Enjoy!" When I read this on my shampoo bottle, it made me laugh, and think of my grandmother.

With every purchase that make from Peacock Republic you are giving back. For each product sold, they donate basic necessities to those in need. For ever bar and bottle of soap they sell, a bar or bottle is donated to charities in need. All products are packaged with recycled boxes and recycled and/or biodegradable packaging materials. The shipping of your products are also offset by a donation to the carbon fund (carbonfund.org).

I'm having a very hard time finding anything for my hair that works. I'd love to try the Hope in My Pocket shampoo & conditioner. (And the rosemary extract may even darken some of these gray hairs!)
