My Review and Thoughts:

We love all of the Indiana Jones movies! This last one was for sure, the final one with Harrison Ford. The ending is really cool! If you like the previous Indiana Jones movies, you'll like this one too! My fifteen year old son and eleven year old daughter wanted to watch the previous five Indiana Jones movies now! I'm so happy to be able to share these amazing family movies with them! Check out the movie trailer below.

He decided to forgo any life saving measures, chemo, etc. This bracelet has helped me feel more grounded and in control.

My Review:
My three children were ages five and eight (girls), and my son was ten years old when this movie came out, they all loved it! They can't wait to watch it again! Warner Bros. kicked it out of the park with this movie! Way to go! This movie is perfect and entertaining for children ages 4 to 5 and up, depending on the child. I'd watch this one anytime my children want to watch it without regretting it, or the music! The music in the movie was awesome! I wonder if there's a CD soundtrack? We aren't big on watching or playing sports. But this was a great movie! Great for children, families and people of all ages!

My Thoughts:
My ten year old daughter read this book and really liked it. She enjoys graphic books and novels and reads through them quickly. She enjoys reading about her favorite super heroes lives before they became super heroes and when they were younger. Graphic novels like these help younger readers to understand their favorite super heroes more in depth. I felt that it was a cute, enjoyable book. I just wish that there were AR tests for them in our schools for our children who can't read lengthy chapter books all the time.

The Hales are veterans in the children’s publishing space and are the co-authors behind acclaimed and fan-favorite novels and graphic novels including the Princess in Black series, Rapunzel’s Revenge, and The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl, among others. Both are longtime fans of Wonder Woman, and this book marks their first project with the character and first work with DC.

“I was so excited to write about young Wonder Woman,” said Shannon Hale. “I always wondered what it would feel like for young Diana to grow up as the only child in her world. How extraordinary—but also potentially lonely. We started from there and got to explore who Wonder Woman was as a child, and challenge her with an adventure that would help shape who she would become.”

Diana: Princess of the Amazons also marks Ying’s first work with DC and her very first graphic novel. Ying comes to DC from an animation background, having worked on such hit Disney films as Tangled, Frozen, and Wreck-It Ralph, among others. Ying has also written and illustrated several children’s picture books and was thrilled to work on this original story starring Wonder Woman.

“It was a real treat to explore Diana as a child,” said Ying. “I had a blast drawing her and felt like I got to be her friend too.”

Leading into its January on-sale date, Diana: Princess of the Amazons has already received critical acclaim from such outlets as Publishers Weekly, Kirkus Reviews, and School Library Journal, among others. The book was also selected by IndieBound’s prestigious Kids Next list for winter and is one of DC’s most anticipated releases of 2020.

My Review:
These candles have wood wicks and they smell AMAZING! I got to burn one for a few hours on a cooler day here in southern California. I can't wait to burn it some more when we move to a state where it's cooler in the winter. These candles also come with Candle Care instructions and a thank you note from the site's owner! I loved the smell of my parent's living room during and after I burned the Gathering Candle (Orange & Clove). The room smelled really good afterwards, and the scents seem to linger in the room for a little while.

This book was good, full of adventure. I liked Dinah and her best friends. They sort of remind me of me and my best friends. I like that she plays in a band with her friends.

I, Heather, looked through this book, it looked good and appropriate for girls ages 10 and up. As you can read above, my daughter Chloe liked it! She's been helping me lately to review books. I like hearing her thoughts about them. Christmas is coming up soon! Any girl ages 10-14 would like this book!

My Review:
"A Cinderella Story: Christmas Wish" is sort of a musical, it has some new Christmas songs in it! I really liked it. It is geared more towards girls ages 12 and under, for sure. My seven year old daughter loved it, of course! I bet she'll make us watch it a few more times before Christmas! I love Kat's voice (played by Laura Marano)! She's also a great actress. This movie stayed true to the first The Cinderella Story movie! I'm really glad that it wasn't cheesy like the last two! This movie will totally get you in the Christmas spirit! Synopsis:

A few years ago in December, a friend of mine posted online about how she missed having a Christmas Tree and money to purchase presents for herself and her children one year. My children and I happened to have a small, about 2-3 foot artificial tree in the upstairs closet in our house. I don't remember how it got there. I just knew that we didn't need it. I almost always have extra items and gift laying around the house that we hardly use because of being a blogger/reviewer. So we usually give them to friends and family close to us.

So I went around the house gathering items for my friend, her daughter, and for her son. I put them into Christmas gift bags with tissue paper, but with no names on the bags. As I figured once they peaked inside, they would know who they were for! Then my girls and I put those items into my truck and went to a local store where we purchase blue Christmas tree ornaments, and some others, to put on the tree along with a star and a few boxes of lights. I waited until that afternoon when I knew that she wouldn't be home, and my children and I went and left all of these items on their front porch, along with the tree!

Later that afternoon, she posted on her facebook page about coming home to the tree, ornaments and presents and how grateful her and her family were to have people around them that did this for them! I told my children and we all felt like Santa's Elves that afternoon when we left those gifts on their doorstep that year. The Christmas Jars movie reminded me of all of the things that I have done to help others around the holidays. It really is a GOOD movie!

My Review:
"Christmas Jars" is a beautiful, heart-warming story about a girl, her mother, and the people who began the first Christmas Jar! I don't want to give the story away, other than to say that this is a great movie to share with the whole family, young and old. Yes, there's a little romance in it, but only one kiss, at the end! If you love stories about giving, generosity, miracles, and kindness, then go see the "Christmas Jars" on November 4th in a theater near you! You'll thank me! It's really worth going to the theater to watch! It's way better than any Hallmark or Lifetime movie I've seen!
