The Lego Movie Blu-Ray/DVD Combo Pack #Giveaway! (U.S.) Ends 7/1 #TheLEGOMovie

About the Lego Movie:

The LEGO® Movie, the first-ever, full-length theatrical LEGO® adventure, directed by Phil Lord & Christopher Miller is an original 3D computer animated story that follows Emmet, an ordinary, rules-following, perfectly average LEGO minifigure who is mistakenly identified as the most extraordinary person and the key to saving the world. He is drafted into a fellowship of strangers on an epic quest to stop an evil tyrant, a journey for which Emmet is hopelessly and hilariously underprepared.

Chris Pratt (Moneyball) stars as the voice of Emmet. Will Ferrell (The Campaign) stars as the voice of his primary adversary, President Business, an erudite, anal-retentive CEO who has a hard time balancing world domination with micro-managing his own life; while Liam Neeson (Taken) voices the president's powerful henchman, known as Bad Cop, who will stop at nothing to catch Emmet.

Starring as Emmet's fellow travelers are Oscar® winner Morgan Freeman (Million Dollar Baby), as Vitruvius, an old mystic; Elizabeth Banks (The Hunger Games, Emmy nominee for 30 Rock), as tough-as-nails Lucy, who mistakes Emmet for the savior of the world and guides him on his quest; Will Arnett (Emmy nominee, 30 Rock), as the mysterious Batman, a LEGO minifigure with whom Lucy shares a history; Nick Offerman (NBC's Parks and Recreation) as a craggy, swaggering pirate, obsessed with revenge on President Business; and Alison Brie (Community) as a sweet, loveable member of the team, with a powerful secret.

Daddy & Company "Daddy Duck Is The Best: A Daddy's Day Story" Board Book Review And Giveaway! (U.S.) Ends 6/29

I love Daddy & Company products, but especially the books about children and their Dads! We have reviewed and enjoyed time and time again, the Daddy's Bag O' Books. My children ask me and their father to read them to them over and over again. There aren't too many book collections like this one, where most all of the books are about Dads and their children.

"Daddy Duck is the Best: A Daddy's Day Story" book is about:

Daddy Duck's ducklings think he's the greatest dad around. As Daddy's Day approaches they reminisce about all the wonderful things Daddy Duck has taught them over the years and they come up with the best Daddy's Day gift of all.

I read this book to my three children a few days ago when it came, and my son was super excited about today being Father's Day and being able to give his dad cards and gifts to thank him for being their dad. My son's excitement made us grateful for the day, that I have such a man who is my husband, and father to our three children! He spent time talking with our kids, holding them, playing with them, and helping our son play a new angry birds game. Our kids don't get to see their dad for a lot of time after he gets off of work when they are in school. So we have been keeping them up later and spending more time together on the weekends as a family. We only have nine weeks for summer here, and two weeks are now already gone, and it's going by way too fast for me.

Purchase your own copy of "Daddy Duck is the Best: A Daddy's Day Story" board book online on Daddy & Co. for only $10.99! Or enter below using the Rafflecopter form for a chance to win your own "Daddy Duck is the Best: A Daddy's Day Story" board book! Giveaway is open to residents who live in the 48 continental United States only, 18 years of age or older. Giveaway ends 6/29.

JORD Wood Watch Review and #Giveaway! (Worldwide) Ends 7/6 (Rafflecopter) #JordWatch

I recently had a chance to review the JORD Wood Watch in Ely - Natural Green & Maple. This is one of the most beautiful watches I have ever seen! It fits my wrist comfortably. I really like that it's not heavy like other watches. I used to work at a jewelry shop back in 2004, and we had many watches come into the store for repair or to have them resized so that people could wear them. But they were all similar. Either they had leather or metal bands and they were made out of metal, silver, or gold. But JORD watches, are made of wood, and they are super unique and beautifully made.

Some information about JORD watches from their website:

"A wood watch by JORD is a truly unique time piece hand-crafted from natural wood. The bands and movement housings can be made from one or more types of wood. The internal movements are sourced from the finest international watch manufacturers and the glass is a scratchproof "blue film" glass. If you are seeking a beautiful and unique time piece for your collection or simply need an expressive fashion accessory, a wood watch is your next talk piece."

"Wood watches by JORD are manufactured with a variety of natural woods from around the world. Each product is different and we are constantly sourcing unique and sustainable product with which we hand-craft every watch. Some of the wood we use include bamboo, maple, sandlewood, blackwood, cherry, and teak."

I especially like that JORD "products are made using 100% natural wood with stainless steel clasps. Further, we do not use any toxic chemicals to treat or protect them." They don't use any toxic chemicals on their products! "Wood watches by JORD are produced with all natural and untreated woods."
