On The Best of Elmo 4, Elmo is back with hours of fun for his biggest (and littlest) fans. Join your favorite friendly monster for a trip down memory lane to revisit some of his best Sesame Street moments. But in Elmo’s World, wherever there is fun to be had, there are also lessons to be learned! In Elmo’s Sweet Ride, a -new episode from Season 47, Elmo teaches patience and sharing when he lets his pal Zoe take a ride on his scooter, waiting his turn while she practices and learns how to ride.

Elmo also makes some new friends along the way! Sesame Street: Elmo’s Favorite Stories is a compilation of engaging and educational stories for preschool children.  In one story, a disagreement arises between Big Bird and Elmo as they are about to act out one of Elmo’s favorite stories, “Maria the Cowgirl.” In another story Abby recalls that green creatures are often princes in disguise! Abby soon concludes that Oscar could be a frog—he is green isn’t he?—and therefore is also an enchanted prince! She thinks that a kiss is the only way to break the spell and turn Oscar back into Prince Oscar. Children will learn early reading skills such as letter recognition, letter sounds, and story structure (beginning/middle/end) as the Sesame friends use their imaginations to make up and act out all kinds of stories.

I like Elmo's World because my children have learnd so much from watching Sesame Street and Elmo. They learned things about the weather, jumping, firefighters, bicycles, mail, and more! This DVD is a great learning tool at home, in the car and in the classroom!

My Review:
Sesame Street: Elmo Can Do It is a great DVD with shows perfect for your little one to help relax their nerves over losing teeth, sleep overs, hair cuts and more! My three year old and six year old girls watched this from beginning to end and they loved it! Purchase your copy this Tuesday, October 13th!

My Review:
My children are now seven, five, and two and a half years old. My older two children watched Sesame Street all the time, and they both loved Elmo. But my two and a half year old is a busy little girl when her siblings aren't home, so it's hard to get her to sit still long enough to watch it.

But my two and a half year old daughter sat still and watch a majority of The Best of Elmo 3! She sang and danced along and pointed out her favorite singers and songs that she recognized. As she's really into country music and children's movie soundtracks.

Elmo's Potty Time DVD - Review

It's been time to potty train our almost 3 year old son, Matthew, for a while now. It's hard finding time inbetween everything else going on in our lives. He loves being praised, and he loves cookies. So I decided to buy some mini vanilla oreos to help motivate him into going in his potty. We are working on it. He LOVES his CARS underwear, so this helps. But, the Elmo's Potty Time DVD also helped. He was repeating Pee, Pee, and Poo, Poo along with the kids on the dvd. He thought that was the coolest thing! Nice to see other kids talking about going potty, since we don't have too many kiddos his age around us right now.

 

I really love the Elmo's Potty Time DVD! It shows Elmo in his diapers as a baby and shows Elmo and his daddy talking about when Elmo wore baby diapers and how Elmo learned to use the potty. Then it showed Elmo using the potty, which was really cool! Next, it was about Elmo, baby bear, and his little sister talking about using the potty. The whole dvd was very positive about potty training. It even teaches and repeats a few times that it takes time to learn to use the potty and that accidents are OK! I recommend for anyone who doesn't know where to start to potty train their toddlers to check out this! I bought it for under $10 at Wal-mart.
