SYNOPSIS
The film tells the story of Javed (Viveik Kalra), a British teen of Pakistani descent growing up in the town of Luton, England, in 1987. Amidst the racial and economic turmoil of the times, he writes poetry as a means to escape the intolerance of his hometown and the inflexibility of his traditional father (Kulvinder Ghir). But when a classmate (Aaron Phagura) introduces him to the music of Bruce Springsteen, Javed sees parallels to his working-class life in the powerful lyrics. As Javed discovers a cathartic outlet for his own pent-up dreams, he also begins to find the courage to express himself in his own unique voice.

My Review and Thoughts:
Beautiful, romantic movie! I loved it! Yes, it's somewhat, a musical! I took away from this movie to stand up for what I believe in, which I've had to do since June this year. Stand up for yourself, your beliefs, but most of all, stand up for your dreams and make your life what you want it, or someone else will make your life what they want it to be. Sometimes, old traditions stand in the way of what people want in life. But it doesn't have to be that way. If you love to watch love story movies and movies where people fight for what they want in their lives, then this is the movie for you! It's also set back in the 1980's, or something like that, I can't remember, but the hair styles and clothing are awesome!

My Review:
These candles have wood wicks and they smell AMAZING! I got to burn one for a few hours on a cooler day here in southern California. I can't wait to burn it some more when we move to a state where it's cooler in the winter. These candles also come with Candle Care instructions and a thank you note from the site's owner! I loved the smell of my parent's living room during and after I burned the Gathering Candle (Orange & Clove). The room smelled really good afterwards, and the scents seem to linger in the room for a little while.

After MANY years of trying to get the teachers and others at my son's old elementary school to see that my son NEEDS special education help and services, they did nothing, until it was too late!
Since moving to California, the elementary school here saw what I've been seeing for years! That my twelve year old son has Asperger's Syndrome and he qualifies for special education help and services. He might even get his own aide for the rest of this school year! I'm really happy about this! I've been trying to get him special help forever! But no one in Tennessee would listen, not even my soon to be ex-husband. He still thinks that our son is normal, and just stubborn. But he's not normal. He's far from normal. He has to be handled and treated differently than our girls, and he knows it too! He sees things and makes comments about his problems and about what he can and can't do. My son knows he's different.
I am grateful for more opportunities for my son! I am grateful for the school staff finally seeing what I've been seeing and trying to get someone to agree with me about, for years!

I wasn't sure about this movie in the beginning. I didn't read anything about it before seeing it and I'd only seen maybe one movie trailer for it. As we only stream TV shows and movies now. But as it got going and the women took over, it was awesome! I am HUGE fans of both Melissa McCarthy and Elisabeth Moss! I loved Elisabeth Moss in the Handmaid's Tale! All three women are amazing actresses and they were in "The Kitchen" also! This isn't a movie to be watched around children or teenagers. As they wouldn't understand the content. Any person who enjoys old fashioned mobster movies, will love "The Kitchen!" This would make a great Christmas Gift too!

"BIG CAT" is an adorable children's story! Great for infants up to five year olds, kindergarten age. I love the beautiful illustrations of the tiger, flower garden, the cats and people. So adorable! This book was good, full of adventure. I liked Dinah and her best friends. They sort of remind me of me and my best friends. I like that she plays in a band with her friends.
I, Heather, looked through this book, it looked good and appropriate for girls ages 10 and up. As you can read above, my daughter Chloe liked it! She's been helping me lately to review books. My Review:
"A Cinderella Story: Christmas Wish" is sort of a musical, it has some new Christmas songs in it! I really liked it. It is geared more towards girls ages 12 and under, for sure. My seven year old daughter loved it, of course! I bet she'll make us watch it a few more times before Christmas! I love Kat's voice (played by Laura Marano)! She's also a great actress. This movie stayed true to the first The Cinderella Story movie! I'm really glad that it wasn't cheesy like the last two! This movie will totally get you in the Christmas spirit! My Review and Thoughts:
It was fun opening the box with my two girls! We had no idea really about what was inside. I didn't research it on purpose. I knew that dog subscription boxes usually had treats, and maybe one toy. The K9 Planet Adventure Box included two bags of dog treats, two plush dog toys, one postcard, and one reusable luggage tag! Our dog Lucy loved the dog treats, as you can tell in the video above. We haven't done an unboxing video before, so we had fun with it. We also wanted to include our dog in the video along with seeing how she liked the treats!

I wanted this year's Holiday Gift Guide to be special, and different. As I haven't done one in the past two years and I feel that I've learned a lot since then. This time last year, my family and I were on vacation in southern California with my parents and other family. Now, this year, my children and I, find ourselves living with my parents. We moved to California this year in June, and we are hoping to move out in July next year. Being here is tough. As my parents don't like it when my girls scream or raise their voices or get upset. I hide in the bedroom most of the time because the house isn't mine.
My goal is to move to another state and rent a house for a short time, maybe 6 months, so we will unpack some things, but not everything. Then, I'd like to BUY a house of my own, of our own. I want to live some place where my children and I can put down roots and be comfortable in our own home, their school, with our neighbors and with their classmates. But most of all, I want a house that is OURS where we can leave our shoes where ever we want to for the most part, within reason, and no one can say anything about it! So if I walk in the door and leave my shoes by the door, so be it! It's MY front door and I will leave my shoes where I want them! Well, let's pray that our do Lucy doesn't decide to start chewing them up, then, maybe we might have to rethink this option. But Lucy normally isn't out in the house at night where she can tear into things! So this should work, and we are hoping to find some place where we can feel comfortable and spread our wings. So maybe Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Idaho, Montana, Virginia, maybe Pennsylvania? I have no idea, but some place out that way! As I can't afford to live in California at all. Even with a full time job and child support, we'd never pay anything off and I'd always be living paycheck to paycheck. Plus, child support runs out in 11 years, then what? I'd have to find a room to rent, and pray they'll let me bring my cat! Yes, a CAT!!! I haven't had a cat since I was 24, maybe 25 years old! I want a cat darn it!
